Frequently asked questions

How EvrFit works, what it costs, and what it does with your data. Short answers, no small print.

The basics

What is EvrFit?

EvrFit is a health companion for iPhone. It reads your food, sleep, movement, water, weight and medicines together, builds a weekly meal and workout plan from the dishes you already eat, and adjusts it every Monday from what you actually did.

How is it different from a calorie counter?

A counter stops at the number. EvrFit shows what the number means: a daily readiness score, a plan that follows your week, and, with Plus, a weekly review and early warnings about unhealthy habits.

Is it free?

You can start free. Logging, your plan, a new plan every Monday, Apple Health, reminders, widgets and the Apple Watch app are free. Plus adds a Monday review, Health Watch, planned versus eaten, a nutrition tip with every scan, and more scans.

How much is Plus?

$4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year (about $2.50 a month). Both plans start with a 7-day free trial. These are US prices; your App Store shows the price for your own country and currency. Cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

Who is it for?

Adults aged 18 and over who want to lose fat, build muscle or stay healthy, and who want a plan that follows real life.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and an Apple or Google account to sign in. An Apple Watch is optional.

Is there an Android version?

No. EvrFit is iPhone only for now.

Does it support pounds or other languages?

Not yet. EvrFit uses kilograms and centimetres, and the app is in English.

Your plan and targets

How are my calories and protein chosen?

From your body, your goal and how active you are, kept inside safe limits. Your meals and workouts are then written to fit those targets.

Which goals can I choose?

Lose fat, build muscle or general health. If a target weight and date would need an unsafe pace, EvrFit uses the safe pace and shows you an honest date instead.

Does exercise let me eat more?

A little, on purpose. When you complete a workout, part of what you burned is added to that day's food target so you can fuel it. Rest days add nothing.

What changes every Monday?

Everyone gets next week's plan, adjusted from how your week actually went. Changes are small and gradual, never sudden. Plus members also get the Monday review.

What if I skip logging for a few days?

Nothing breaks. A week with very little logged is treated as thin data, so it doesn't become your new normal.

Will the plan use food I actually eat?

Yes. Choose from ten cuisines (American, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mediterranean, Mexican, Middle Eastern and Thai) and list what to avoid. The plan adapts meals you already log. If something isn't in the food database, you can describe it or photograph it.

Can I change my plan mid-week?

Profile changes are picked up on Monday. Plus members can also rebuild the plan on demand, up to twice a week.

Tracking

How do I log food?

Search the catalog, describe it in words, take a photo, or scan a nutrition label. You always confirm the dish and amount before it is saved.

How accurate are the numbers?

They are estimates. Catalog values come from recipes and ingredients, and photo and text values come from AI. EvrFit explains how each estimate was made and lets you change the quantity.

What are AI scans, and what do they cost?

When a photo or description isn't in the catalog, it is sent for an AI estimate. Free accounts get 14 a month, shared between photo and text. Plus gets 5 photo scans and 10 text lookups a day. Catalog matches and nutrition-label scans cost nothing. Plus adds a nutrition tip with each scan.

What is the readiness score?

A 0 to 100 score that says Ready, Steady or Recover, so you know whether to push or take it easy. It needs last night's sleep from Apple Health, and it tells you what wasn't tracked.

What is the Journal?

One timeline for the day: food, water, sleep, medicines and workouts, with planned items in place and a Missed tag when something wasn't done. Press and hold an entry to edit it.

Can it track my medicines?

It logs doses, sets reminders, and can read a medicine box on your phone to pre-fill the name and strength. It never advises starting, stopping or changing a medicine.

Can I log workouts?

Yes. Enter one yourself, pick from the exercise catalog, or look one up with AI. Workouts from Apple Health appear automatically, and you can swipe a planned exercise to mark it done.

Coach and Health Watch (Plus)

What is the Monday review?

Three short lists: what worked, what didn't, and what to improve, each with a check you can measure. Every line comes from your own logs.

What is Health Watch?

A quiet check for unhealthy habits, like low fibre, short sleep or late dinners, so you can catch them early, before they become a problem. It shows the numbers, why it matters, and a link to the research. It is a pattern in your logs, not a diagnosis.

Does it replace my doctor or dietitian?

No. EvrFit is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and it can't diagnose anything or give medical advice. Keep seeing your doctor, especially if you manage something like diabetes or blood pressure.

Apple Health, Apple Watch and widgets

What does EvrFit read from Apple Health?

Active energy, workouts, water, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability and resting heart rate. It does not read steps. It writes your logged food, water, weight and workouts back. It is optional, and you control it in iOS Settings.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Sleep and heart data come from whatever writes to Apple Health. If you have a Watch, the EvrFit Watch app shows your day and adds complications for calories left, water and your streak.

Which widgets are there?

Home Screen: Today (small, medium and large) and Timeline. Lock Screen: calories left and your streak. A water button logs a glass without opening the app.

How do reminders work?

EvrFit sets water, four meals, workout and medicine reminders inside your active hours. You can edit every time. They sync to your account, so they come back after a reinstall.

Can I use two devices?

An account can have two devices. One is chosen to upload your Apple Health data, so two phones never overwrite each other.

Privacy and safety

Who can see my data?

Only you. Your records are private to your account and are stored with trusted global cloud services, in regions including the EU, India, the US and Singapore. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.

Does the website use cookies or track me?

No. The website has no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies. If you pick a light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice and nothing else.

What goes to the AI, and is my data used to train it?

Only what each feature needs. A plan uses your profile and recent logs. A scan uses the photo or text. A report uses its extracted text, along with your conditions and medicines. Requests go only to providers that don't keep your content beyond answering, and your content is never used to train AI. You agree to this once before you start.

What happens to my medical reports?

The file is stored privately under your account. Its text is read on your phone, then sent with your conditions and medicines to the AI for a short summary that shapes later plans. You can delete a report any time. Report analysis is a Plus feature, with two free analyses while you set up.

How long do you keep my data?

Daily logs, plans and reviews are deleted automatically after 90 days. Your profile, reports and account stay until you delete them. Food photos aren't stored.

How do I delete my data?

Profile, then Delete account, removes everything immediately and permanently. Reset preferences clears your logs, plans, reviews and reports but keeps your profile answers.

Can I export my data?

Not in the app yet. Email privacy@evrfit.app and we will help.

Can I withdraw AI consent but keep my account?

No. Plans and reviews depend on AI, so withdrawing consent means deleting your account.

Good to know

Does it work offline?

Food and water entries save on your phone and send when you are back online. Everything else needs a connection.

I work nights. Will it work?

Not yet. Your active hours need to start and end on the same day.
